Who is Helen Skelton’s ex husband Richie Myler?
Rugby league player Richie Myler is the former husband of Strictly star Helen Skelton.
He was born on May 21, 1990, in Widnes, Cheshire.
Richie plays for rugby league giants Leeds Rhinos in the Super League after joining them in 2018.
He began his professional career with the Widnes Vikings in 2007, before signing with Salford City Reds.
He then played 145 times for Warrington Wolves from 2010 to 2015 before moving to Catalans Dragons.
The Cheshire-born scrum-half has also been capped seven times by England since making his debut against Wales back in 2008 as part of the World Cup training squad.
The star played for the national side in 2018, where he featured in test matches against France and New Zealand.
Myler was voted man of the match in the Rhinos’ Challenge Cup final victory at Wembley Stadium in October 2020.

The couple got engaged after the rugby league star got down on one knee and popped the question to Skelton in March 2012.
The pair married almost two years later with an intimate wedding in December 2013.
The ceremony took place at Kirkby Thore’s St Michael’s church in Skelton’s childhood village, not far from Penrith in Cumbria.
A number of well-wishers from the village joined friends and family outside the church where all her family were christened.
Her legal name is Skelton-Myler, but professionally she still uses the surname Skelton.

On April 25, 2022, Helen revealed that she had split from her husband.
In an emotional social media post, Helen said: “Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple.
“He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children.”
She ended the post with two broken heart emojis.
In May 2022, it was revealed Richie had begun a new relationship with the daughter of the multi-millionaire President of the Leeds Rhinos club he plays for, Stephanie Thirkill.
A source close to the couple told MailOnline: “Helen is absolutely devastated. Now she is contemplating life without him while he has moved on with his new partner.”
However, Richie insists there was no crossover, and that he began the romance with Stephanie after their marriage finished, but Helen feels let down.
The source added: “She thought their marriage was safe and secure and is totally shocked by what’s happened.”
Do Helen Skelton and Richie Myler have children?
Since the star couple tied the knot in 2013, the family has grown with the arrival of two sons and a daughter.
Their eldest son Ernie was born in June 2015, and in April 2017 Ernie became an elder brother with the arrival of Louis.
Ernie and Louis spent part of their early childhoods living in France after Myler signed for French club Catalans Dragons, based in Perpignan, in 2016.
The couple returned to the UK when Myler signed for Leeds Rhinos in 2018.
Then in December 2021, the pair welcomed their third child, daughter Elsie Kate.
